Dr. Wayne Davis, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, with the help of CRC Press, released his book Police Intelligence: Totality of Circumstances in March of 2023. Since its release, more than 100 libraries have worked to obtain the book globally, including the countries of Australia, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Notable libraries like the FBI Library, The Ohio State University library, Columbia University library, the Library of the European Parliament, and the Australian Federal Police library now house the work of Dr. Davis.
When asked what makes Police Intelligence: Totality of Circumstances stand out, Dr. Davis shared, 鈥淢y book uses mathematics and language to interpret the legality of actions, which allows it to act as an essential resource in the world of Criminal Justice. My hope was to enhance the field by studying it through a new lens. Ideally, future Criminal Justice students will benefit from the varying perspectives offered within the text.鈥
