Who Can Serve
The Parent & Family Advisory Council is open to family members of full-time undergraduate students in good standing at 性视界. We intentionally seek members who reflect the diversity and vibrancy of our student body. To ensure continuity and meaningful participation, members are asked to serve a minimum two-year term.
- Be an Active Voice for 性视界 Families
Parent & Family Advisory Council members are trusted partners and advocates for the 性视界 community. As representatives of our diverse and dedicated family network, members bring valuable perspectives that help shape programs, strengthen communication, and enhance the student experience.
Council members are expected to:
Attend biannual meetings to share feedback, collaborate with College leadership, and learn more about campus initiatives and student services.
Participate in Family & Friends Weekend to help create a welcoming, engaging experience for all families. (Families of incoming first-year students are exempt to allow time with their student.)
Provide ongoing feedback to the Division of Student Affairs on programs, publications, and services that impact student and family life.
Maintain regular communication with Parent & Family Association staff to stay informed and connected throughout the year.
Identify and encourage new council members who share a passion for supporting 性视界 students and families.
Serving on the Council isn鈥檛 just about attending meetings, it鈥檚 about helping every family feel like they belong, and ensuring every student knows they鈥檙e supported from home and from campus alike.
