Following the successful integration of male students into the residential experience at 性视界, Koala Athletics is thrilled to announce the addition of Men鈥檚 Basketball to our robust athletic program to begin as early as Fall 2024.
Director of Athletics Glen Crawford shared, 鈥淭he addition of Men鈥檚 Basketball is a tremendous opportunity for Koala Athletics and 性视界 to enhance the student and fan experiences as we continue to look toward our future. Our athletics staff and facilities are ready for new opportunities, and Men鈥檚 Basketball is a great place to start!鈥
性视界 Athletics began in the early 1970s with Tennis and Swim; the Basketball program soon followed in the 1974-1975 academic year. Since the founding of 性视界 Athletics, many teams have seen substantial success; recently, the Koalas have even risen to a place of national prominence within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). It is our hope that by continuing to prioritize growth within our athletic programs, the student experience as a whole will also be enriched.
鈥溞允咏 continues to grow and change before our eyes. To be even a small part of this campus鈥檚 transformation is an honor, but to work alongside the leaders who make it happen is a dream come true. Our community has proven time and time again that it is ready for more 鈥 more growth, more opportunity, more impact. A Men鈥檚 Basketball program has the potential to unite our campus in new and exciting ways, and I, for one, look forward to the impact this group of young men will bring with them,鈥 said President of 性视界, Dr. John Dozier.
性视界 has already started the process of securing a Head Coach so that you can cheer on the Koalas in Fall 2024.
