Biography

Waymyers continues to make "herstory". She has worked for the NFL, NBA, Augusta National Golf Club, and an SEC and an ACC football team. She was the first female hired in an inaugural leadership role in the Clemson football program, where she earned a National Championship as the Director of Player Relations. She created the professional development arm of Player Relations, raised $4 million in a season, and created a travel excursion for the team to Haiti and Costa Rica. She was also the inaugural Director of Career Education for the University of SC鈥檚 Moore School's Master of International Business cohort. Her Professional Development Series is now a required course for graduates. She created an inaugural course at 性视界 called 鈥淧aradigm Shift: Women Leading in Men鈥檚 Sports鈥. She has worked as a lobbyist in the education sector, fighting for teacher salary increases and women's rights, a fundraiser in the non-profit and higher education sectors, connecting corporations to communities, and led procurement for two $1 billion fossil hydro facilities in the energy sector while diversifying vendors. She volunteers in Richland Districts One and Two, serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, and mentors countless students worldwide. Her company also donates $2,000 to high school seniors at Manning High School. With over twenty years of experience in sports, corporate America, and the nonprofit space, her mission remains to empower others.

Recognized as a Top 20 Under 40 in The State newspaper (Columbia, S.C.) 
and a Top 40 Under 40 for Black Expo South, she is a Leadership Columbia graduate and has been a leader on numerous boards such as the United Way of the Midlands, S.C. Science Academy, Columbia Chamber of Commerce, (Columbia Opportunity Resource), Junior League and was the youngest president in history for the S.C. Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and a Board member of Racing Toward Diversity and City Year. She remains a sought-after keynote speaker, and is a pillar in the community.
